Language Arts - We began our unit on the Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
There is a spelling/vocabulary quiz on Thursday.
Students have the words and definitions.

appetite - desire for food
bustling - move around with much energy
dervish - whirling dance
mahogany - reddish-brown wood used for furniture
mane - long hair on the back of a horse's neck
mischievous - behaving in an annoying playful manner
partridge - plump game bird
quaver - nervous tremble
steed - very powerful, large horse
whippoorwill - brownish nocturnal bird
Social Studies - We currently are discussing each candidate's (Clinton - Trump) platform
