We were finishing up our Final Drafts in class today for the Loch Ness Monster Persuasive Writing Prompt. The deadline has been extended until Monday at the end of school, however most students were able to complete their final drafts.
The opinions and evidence cited has been very impressive so far!

Students need to complete their rough drafts on the persuasive topic:
Is the Loch Ness Monster truly living within the Loch or just a Legend?
Overall students should have four paragraphs.
Paragraph 1 - Intro, history, opinion
Paragraph 2 - Evidence to support opinion
Paragraph 3 - Evidence to support opinion
Paragraph 4 - Conclusion, restate opinion in an emphatic manner

Evidence was explored today in our ELA class as to whether the Loch Ness Monster is truly present in Scotland or if it is just wishful thinking.
Students will write their rough draft of the persuasive paper tomorrow in class.

We began a persuasive writing project in class today.
Students will need to write a persuasive essay on whether they believe the Loch Ness Monster is real or the product of an overactive imagination and wishful thinking.
We will continue discussing theories, hoaxes, and evidence next week to help support their opinions.
