Biography Project

The 5th grade ELA classes have been working on a biography project this week in class. Students have already conducted their research with a partner. Now, students need to present their research. Our classes were initially using the website www.voki.com. Unfortunately, several students ran into major issues with the website. Therefore, I have decided to offer a second option. Students need to select an option by tomorrow. Each project is worth the same amount of points. Five points will be deducted from the point total each day the project is late.
Students may select to do the voki avatar or the poster project. All info was sent home with students today.

Monday, November 13, 2017

Homework November 13, 2017

We will have a Spelling pretest on Ten Mile Day. Students need to know the contractions for the word combinations.
A Biography project will be due next Monday, November 20th. Initially, our classes were using a software program online (www.voki.com), however there were numerous problems while using the web-site in class today. I will offer an alternative project in place of the avatar. Students may choose which project they would like to do. Each project will be worth same amount of points.
We will discuss the options in class tomorrow.
