Social Studies - Periods 3 and 4 - The Election results are in! All students did a wonderful job with the elections. There will be a quiz on Wednesday on the election process. We are reviewing tomorrow.

Language Arts - Periods 1 and 2 - We completed our interviews in class today. Tomorrow students will begin writing a biography in class tomorrow.

Social Studies - Periods 3 and 4 - We discussed campaign slogans in class today. Students will make campaign slogan posters in class tomorrow. We will also begin making a speech according to the student's political platform. Speeches will take place on Thursday. Should be a good time.

For a ticket - Our classes studied The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe last week. For a ticket, write the titles of two other stories Poe wrote on a piece of paper. Hand it to Mr. Walsh tomorrow while saying "Quoth the Raven - Nevermore" for a bonus ticket!

                                                     Students seemed to have done well.
                                                     Tomorrow we will have our pre-Spelling test.
                                                     Students also need to have their 26 sentences completed using the
                                                     spelling words by Thursday.
Social Studies - Periods 3 and 4 - Complete the textbook comprehension from pages 46-48.
