We will have our assessment on Satchel Paige this Thursday.
Today we listened to the recording of the story to refresh our memories. We read the story before the break.
Our classes focused on completing the Tri-fold comprehension questions.
Students are permitted to take home the text if they choose to.
The assessment will consist of the following items and concepts:

1.Vocabulary
2.Compound, Complex, Simple Sentences
3.Fact-Opinion
4.Synonyms/Antonyms
5.Tri-Fold Comprehension

Period 3 - We will complete the worksheet in class tomorrow.
There will be a notebook check in class tomorrow. Students were made aware of the check and what is required both note-wise and neatness-wise.

We will begin reading the story Satchel Paige tomorrow in class.
There will be an assessment on the story most likely the Wednesday after Thanksgiving break.

The Spelling Bee preliminary test is Monday. Students may participate if they wish. It is optional.

We began The Island of the Dolphins today in class. We discussed and worked on theme, setting, and the vocabulary. There will be a test on the story next Thursday or Friday.
