Students need to complete #'s 1-7 on their Earth's Interior paclet. The questions begin on page 1 and conclude on page 2. All answers can be found in the textbook.

Students need to complete their Vocabulary flashcards this evening. The 10 vocabulary words can be found on page 6 in the Science textbook (Key Terms). Students need to cut out the cards, write the vocab word on one side, and the definition on the opposite side of the card. The students were given sheets in class today to use for the flashcards.
This is due Wednesday, Sept. 3.

August 28, 2008 Homework

Complete your Quilt Square for Friday. Students have the directions stapled into their assignment booklets.
The Quilt Square must be fully colored in.

Materials

Students will be given a Science folder next week in class. If a student has already purchased a folder for Science he or she may use that folder instead of the one given out in class.
Please make sure the student's name, homeroom, and the word "Science" is clearly marked on the front of the folder.

Also, students will need a tablet for class beginning next week. (September 2)

Textbooks

Please make sure to take your Science textbook home today. The textbooks are to be kept at home during the school year. Mr. Walsh will supply a textbook to use while in class.

Students will receive 5 textbooks throughout the school year. Once one Science Unit is finished, the student will return the textbook to school and receive their new textbook for the next unit.



STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR TEXTBOOKS

If the textbook is damaged or destroyed, students will be responsible to purchase a new textbook for the District.
