Periods 1 and 2 - Complete the Grammar & Writing  page 76 #'s 1-8 answers only.
                                                                                Page 77 #'s 1-10 answers only
                                                                                             #'s 11-18 write out the sentences.
We will have a small assessment on common and proper nouns tomorrow.
There will also be a notebook check tomorrow in class. I am looking for neatness, work completed in the notebook, and notes on Common and Proper Nouns.

                         One illustration that you consider the climax of the story fully colored in. (Climax)
                         One illustration showing what you believe happened at the conclusion fully colored 
                          in.
E.       Title with authors name 0-5 points
*5 points will be deducted for each day late

This is a tough selection, so for the students that opted to check out the hw blog here is a little insider information: I am only asking the even number spelling words for the Spelling Pretest tomorrow.


Story Mountain project is due next Tuesday, November 12th.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow Story Mountain Project
Due: Tuesday, November 12, 2019
- Students are encouraged to be as creative as they would like.
- Students were given the option of working together if they would prefer. Both students must submit a graphic organizer, however only one main project is submitted for the partners.

Rubric and Breakdown of the project:
Part One - Graphic Organizer due ASAP.
- Students will be give the tact board when the graphic organizer is completed.
*Students may use their own poster board if they wish.

You may do the project on your own or with a partner.
No more than two people per group.

Hey, we survived the Halloween party!
The classes are preparing to complete a culminating project for The Legend of Sleepy Hollow in place of a test.
I will go through the assignment on Monday with the students. The project will be due the following week, most likely Tuesday or Wednesday.
Students do have the option of working with a partner if they choose.
