Homework October 13, 2015

Language Arts - Periods 1 and 2 - We began reading The Legend of Sleepy Hollow today in class. Ask your student which country the Headless Horseman came from, and why he was in America in the first place.
                          Homework tonight - write an original sentence for each vocabulary word.
                                                           Also, we will have a spelling pretest on the ten vocab words
                                                           tomorrow. Friday there will be a Spelling/Vocab quiz with the
                                                           words.
Social Studies - Periods 3 and 4 - The students were working on their Regions project in class. They are looking great so far!  
                         Homework Tonight - Read a news or magazine article tonight.
